Re: HASS (High Availability Storage Systems)

Hi
You can check bus for your server.
If internal disk on bus 1 then HASS must in bus 0
and you can check SCSI-card address.

Re: HASS (High Availability Storage Systems)

Hi Jose.
Have you done an ioscan ?
Your disks should appear in the result and be claimed.
If they are not claimed, you should run the insf command ( check manpages prior to work ).
If possible try the stm ( support tool manager ). If you can run CDE, try xstm to find your problem ( if it is still there).

Re: HASS (High Availability Storage Systems)

Jose,

Check the SCSI ID settings on the HASS rack! Each disk must have it's OWN SCSI ID. Make sure it's terminated also.

Re: HASS (High Availability Storage Systems)

I have done an ioscan and only see the internal disk. I check the target and every disk have a diferent target in the HASS.

The cards SCSI (HP-PB 16 bits differential SCSI), have a special driver?. Maybe I must install someone?
Thanks

Re: HASS (High Availability Storage Systems)

You should already have sdisk in the kernel, but what the hell, check it out.

Re: HASS (High Availability Storage Systems)

Have you created the LUN on the HASS? If yes, then run insf -e on your system to create the device.
