HP 2012fc show leftover on disks
After power supply turn off on the array, hard disks produce the message "leftover". As a result disks are not gathered. In the description it is told, it is necessary to clear the metadata. But whether the data on disks will be saved?

Re: HP 2012fc show leftover on disks
Hi,
Clearing the metadata will remove information about the Vdisk = data is lost.
Im curious about the PSU (power supply), did one PSU fail cause the whole MSA go down?
There is procedures on how to trust the Vdisk, but thats a last resort so i suggest that you create a call with HP and let an MSA engineer have a look first.
Regards,
Johnny
