HP Command View EVA License Entitlement Certificate

I/we have ordered and received two copies of HP Command View EVA 8.1 (T5494-63103) but it did not include the License Entitlement Certificates. As a result, I cannot proceed with EVA configuration beyond creating Vdisks.

How do I get a hold of the EVA License Entitlement Certificates?

I am using the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array License Key Installation instructions, but without the License Entitlement Cert, I cannot proceed.

Is there a workaround to gain temp access? I am looking at AutoPass License process but so far it does not look like it covers EVA CV SW?

Hi,

Part number T5494... is just the media kit, not a license to use.

You'll find the other part numbers that you need on the Quickspecs here:

Re: HP Command View EVA License Entitlement Certificate

Upon re-review of part numbers I found that I was using the EVA CV Restore CD (T5494) and not the actual CV EVA SW(T5497) which does include the License Entitlement Certificate. I just have not receive it yet.

Thanks!
