HP Command View : Unable to add license

Hi,

The company I work for, has ordered and received an HP EVA 4100 with Command View EVA 2TB unlimited licenses.

I had tried to add a new Command View EVA 1TB unlimited licenses with HP Command view 9.2. The license was installed but it didnâ t appear as used license.

Has the WWN been entered correctly during generation of the license key? From experience I can say it is quite easy to mistype ;-)

Hi,

I found out the issue. The new License you have applied is for EVA4400 (T5495B) this will not work with EVA4000 (T5174A).

Wrong License applied.

I just verified the WWN for both license key and it's OK.

Hi,

Eventhough the WWN is same the Licences is valid of EVA4400 systems only. It will not work with EVA4000 Systems. You need to install the EVA4000 Series (refere the product number from license page) only.
