HP MSA1000 GUI

Hello Admins,

I am new to HP storage, in my enviorment i got an request for to extend the existing lun in HP MSA1000.

Which is DAS. so i tried login from server end but i am not sure where i need to go to get into that array.

Can you guys help me where should i approach from server end and how do i extend the existing lun through GUI.

Hi Vignesh

As long as the Proliant Support pack is installed you should be able to configure the MS1000 via the array configuration utility (ACU) in the same way you would configure an internal raid set.

what is the default faul tolerance level for HP MSA1000 while creating logical drive also what is the stripe size?

It is up to you if you want to use RAID 1 or 5.
