I'm searching for a CLI reference for the HP VA storage arrays? Is there any PDF?
Regards,
Patrick

SolutionI normally used the VFP CLI for creating LUN0 and very basic troubleshooting only.
Better to use command view.
You can get basic help like this:
Ready > help
For help with a command, use the -? option (e.g. vfpsetup -?).
setup Performs Virtual Front Panel configuration.
dsp Displays subsystem status.
cfg Performs subsystem configuration.
mgr Performs subsystem management operations.
fmt Performs a subsystem format.
rbld Performs rebuild operations.
recover Performs NVRAM recovery operations.
secure Performs LUN Security operations.
log Displays event logs
Ready > dsp -?
Displays subsystem status.
Usage:
dsp [-c
[-L
-c: Displays controller information.
-d: Displays disk information.
-e: Displays enclosure information.
-f: Displays a listing of FRUs in the array.
-L: Displays LUN information.
-s: Displays subsystem status, warnings, and
subsystem parameter information for the array.
-?: Displays help.
Or are you looking for command view cli commands? They are all in the CV SDM user guide.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP VA7100 CLI reference guide
my fault, I searched for a CLI guide, but the arm-commands were in the CV SDM guide. Thanks for that hint!

Re: HP VA7100 CLI reference guide
If unsure about usage, try cvui. The command line used for the selected command is printed at the bottom of the screen.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
