i want a 3rd party software to configure HP smart Array 1000 first time...
any suggestion?

Hi, hyperterminal in windows works. You can also configure it via putty or hp's acu. Aren't those enough?

I would suggest you the ACU. ACU is very easy to use and configure. There are only 2 methods, First method is ACU and second will be using CLI interface provided. the CLI require a user guide handy to configure it.
