Re: HVD10
Hello,
sorry for my English.
It description is on HP Docs of MIDAS CD. It CD avalible only for HP-service and service-partners of HP.
May be the right way is request your service center for help you because in service manual for it device is wording about installation it only through HP-staff.
But if you go in site http://docs.hp.com and type HVD10 in search string, may be you find some docs with info for you.
For example it one from 8 links with it name.
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B7961-90023/B7961-90023_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B7961-90023/00/00/9-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B7961-90023/00/00/9-toc.html&searchterms=HVD10&queryid=20020526-232427
Regards,
Efim.

Solution
Yes you can do that.
The K-class uses HVD. There are 2 options. Either connect to the SCSI connector on the Core I/O board (Not recommended since this is the same hardware path of internal disks) What I suggest is to install a new SCSI card HPPB or HSC which is HVD.
Good luck
Stefan
