Hi, I am having a problem expanding past 8 physical drives in a logical drive. The drives are in an external drive cage on channel 1 of the controller and are in Raid 5. When I add the extra drives into the external drive cage the controller is able to see the drives. I then select the new drives and the logical drives I want to expand and click expand capacity. I then get the error of "error maximum strip size", and it will not let me increase the size of the logical drive. I can however add the drives as hot spares. Any help would be great.
Thanks

You reach the maximum disk allowed per logical unit
