Help with modifying a logical drive.
HI,
I am fairly new to HP Array configuration utility, so bear with me. We have a logical drive that we freed up and need to chop up into smaller drives. However, the last logical drive in the array is being used and cannot be touched. Basically, how can I chop up logical disk 1, if it is not the last drive in the array and I dont want to move or touch the last LD in the array, When I try to delete it, I get an error that it is not the last drive.
I'm using version 8.60.7.0
Controller is MSA1500
Any options would be appreciated.
Thanks
David

Re: Help with modifying a logical drive.
You can't delete any logical disk but the last one. Your only option is backup, reconfigure and restore.
