Re: How find WWN and Checksum Eva4000/hsv200?
Hi
If you just un-initionlize and then initionlize again with out powering of
you don't need the checksum.
If you un-initionlize and then power off you need to input the WWWN and CS
before you can initionlize

Re: How find WWN and Checksum Eva4000/hsv200?
Hi
Is your EVA working and you want to reset it or do you have to set it up as a new system
because then you need WWWN and CS and also you need licenses.
If it is working you don't need checksum.
Regards

Re: How find WWN and Checksum Eva4000/hsv200?
Hi
If you can power on the EVA and it comes up OK you don't need WWWN and CS but if it dosn't come up
you also need licenses

Re: How find WWN and Checksum Eva4000/hsv200?
Hi
I will try to answer all your questions
1) If when you power on you have to enter WWWN this meens there is no configuration on the disks and you need WWWN and CS
2) if you have command view server it meens that you still have the license file on the server it is in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Hewlett-Packard\HPOvLIC\data\LicFile.txt but you still need the CS I can't help you there
3) to login to command view any user that is the local group "HP Storage Admins" can login to command view
4) if you install command view on a new server you get 60 days trial license.
5) if the cache batteries don't work you will not be able to export disks this meens you can't work with the EVA. you need al least one good battery.
