Re: How much fc disks does be included by a disk group in the EVA8000 ? (Max)

Hi,

If you read the QuickSpecs here:

http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12236_div/12236_div.HTML

you'll see that the EVA8000 can support up to 240 physical disks. As far as I'm aware there's no limitation on the number of disks in a group, so you should be able to go up to that maximum.

Although you don't have to, it's recommended that you install disks in pairs.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob

Read the EVA4/6/8x00 best practice whitepaper. It will tell you everything including number of disks in a group,RAID levels etc
You will get it here: http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/arraywhitepapers.html

Enjoy
