If you need a step by step to do this, you probably should be looking for a consulting company that specializes in these types of configurations.

Building this is actually quite simple.

1. Configure your storage, make sure both nodes can access it and have the same drive letters configured on both servers.

2. Shut down one node.

3. Install the Cluster service on the remaining node.

4. Turn back on the other node and install the cluster server on it.

5. Now you should have a very basic working Cluster.

6. Create 1 Resource Group. Create a Network IP Address and a Network Name resource in that group (I don't remember if EX2003 does this for you, it may which it is a good idea to find a Microsoft doc that gives you the steps to building an Exchange Cluster. If I have some time, I will look it up and post. Someone will likely get to it before I do.)

7. Install Exchange on your Cluster Nodes

8. You should be complete. Tweak and test settings, failover, failback, etc.

These are very BASIC steps. Obviously there is a lot more to each step, but again... you probably should be looking for a consultant for the additional knowledge...

Microsoft provides lookup for Partners that specialize in this type of configuration.
