How to cable MSA 30 to 6404
Hi,
We have a DL50G4 with a SA 6404 and a DB MSA 30. Should I use ports A1 and A2 to connect the MSA? Or A1 and B1? Or does it not make a difference? (Performance)
Thanks!

Re: How to cable MSA 30 to 6404
Hello Rene,
I dont think connecting the MSA to different Ports will cause ANY performance issues;
James.

Re: How to cable MSA 30 to 6404
I don't remember right now how the port designators map to the SCSI busses, but:
An SA6404 is made of TWO stacked SmartArray controllers. Each of them has access to 2 out of the total 4 busses.
