Re: How to determine the serial number of a LUN from EMC CXxxx array?
Thanks for the information. Can you tell me in which menu I change that setting? Do I need to set that parameter when binding a LUN?
Thanks

Solution
Jitao,
I would recomend working with EMC if you dont have experience on this, because, as I've told you, I'm not sure of the effects or changing tthis setting on a live system. You can find the settin in the Connectivity Status screen (you access connectivity status by right clicking the array and selectin that option). When you select the WWN of your host and click the "Info" button, it will tell you the current setting. For changing it, you have to click "group edit", select all the active wwn entries of your host, select your host from the drop-down list for "existing host" and change the "unit serial number" to LUN.
Regards,
Cecilia
