How to downgrade the firmware on HP P400 SAS Raid Card

I recently purchased the HP P400 SAS Raid Card.
I am trying to get it work with the Asus KCMA-D8 Dual Socket C32, but once the System boots and goes into the SAS Raid Card Screen, it freezes ..I was reading some post and they suggested me to downgrade the firmware on this.

My Current Firmware on HP P400 Card is 7.22

Hmm... for HP servers there's the Firmware Maintenance DVD but that probably don't work on your computer.

All the downloads for the P400 can be found here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=1157689〈=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=1157687&taskId=135

There are some windows online utilities, maybe those will work for you. Or if you're on Linux there's an online one for Linux too under " »Cross operating system (BIOS, Firmware, Diagnostics, etc.)"

You could try with the FW DVD.

Otherwise.
Find the FW you want at HP.com

Download the packet, and run it with /force
