How to increase the size of a utilized vdisk in EVA400

Hi Guys,

I have presented a 10GB vdisk from EVA4400 to windows 2003 host. Now i want to increase the size of the same vdisk to 20GB. How can i do that in EVA4400 and what i need to do in windows.

Hello Fennny,
You can increase size of the Vdisk by just clicking on it Command View EVA and change the size to 120GB from 100GB in the Vdisk properties. Then save the changes. This will increase the size of the Vdisk on EVA side, but you also need to ensure that same is supported on OS side. As per below document Lun extend is supported with windows2003, however itâ s a good idea to cross check the same with OS expert as well.
