How to replace a SVP for XP256 haven't use more than two years?

The customer has a XP256 haven't use more than two years, but the hard disk of SVP failed when they want to use it.
So how to replace it? Must use same firmware or just get latest one? We don't know others hardware of the XP256 bad or not.
And how to download older firmware from HP web site?
