Hp P2000 fc g3 disk showing spun down (spin down)

Hi,

we have Hp P2000 fc g3 storage array. One of its disks is showing as spun down (spin down) state. This disk is replaced as odl disk was faulty. We have raid 6 configured on 12 disks with hot spare.Now this disk is hot spare but show disks always shows this disk as spun down state.

*** We have DSD in disabled state already. How to change its state from spun dowm to up?

Hey, if you can't find a CLI command to disable DSD - maybe this setting is stored in the disk metadata?

You can clear the metadata of a disk from the web gui, but I would suggest that you remove the disk as a hot spare/etc before doing that.
