Installing latest patches

hi,
Could you please tell anyone which site I have to visit for getting information about a latest HP-UX11i patches?
Is it advisible to apply these latest patches unless otherwise stated? Is there any harm?

Hi,

Some patches are mandatory anyway. In general you should have latest QPK (Gold quality) patch set installed in your system. QPK is has tested by HP better than other patches. HWE patches are for new hardware support and driver updates..etc.

When system is running smooth, you think twice before applying a patch. Generally only security patches are installed time to time. Each patch has a attached text file describing the patch in detail. Read that and make sure whether it is relevent.

Yes, I aggreed with your answer and want to apply security patches to reduce the loopholes in security arena.
