LAN Free Backup With HP EVA
Hi Guys,
in my set up we have plans to move the regular backups to the LAN Free backup, we have a HP EVA 4000
what is the best solution to use the LAN Free ,
I am thinking of Buisiness copy service
Clone Mirror,
we are currently using Backup Exec 11D, would it be possible to configure LAN free with this configuration of setup,
If I use Snap clone would it be possible to schedule the sync and break times , rather than doing them manually,
any kinda of script which does break & Sync ??
does any one has LAN free experiece with EVA & any backup tool
Please help me with this ,
Thanks in advance

Re: LAN Free Backup With HP EVA
Hello,
for sure you need BC licence, then you can use SSSU utility to make pre-exec and post-exec script for your backup softvare. SSSU comes with EVA Command View.

Hello,
you can also use RSM - replication solution manager - to schedule clone jobs.
