LUN SCAN ISSUE on Linux

Hi,

My SAN is active/active.

We have an EVA 6000 san, and each of our servers have 2 hba, which connect to 2 seperate frabric switches, which in turn connects to the 2 SAN controllers.

I manage multipathing with Qlogic HBAs – failover.

I use RSM job to create Demand Allocated Snaps and present theme to linux host but will see the LUN twice.
can you help me to fix the issue ?

Re: LUN SCAN ISSUE on Linux

Hi,

Have you installed the HP Q-Logic drivers, or are you using the standard ones ?

If the latter, then you may want to install the HP version. You can probably tell, by seeing whether the command "lssd" exists, which is part of one of the HP packages.

It would also be useful to know if this is only happening on the "snap" LUNs...

Cheers,

Rob
