LX Pro Netraid Controller Error Message
We have an LX Pro running a Netraid 3Si controller. Netraid Assistant intermittently reports the following message in the log: "NOTIFY: Check condition on Ch 1 ID 4 with the following sense key - date/time stamp
70 00 01 00 00 00 0
0a 00 00 00 00 5d 0"
The drive indicated has been changed twice - no change.
Does anyone have any insight into what the error message means?

Re: LX Pro Netraid Controller Error Message
Make sure you have the latest Netraid 3Si drivers and downloads from the following web page:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpnetraid-11086_swen.html
and for the LX Pro from:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/nslxep_swen.html
Hope this helps. If not, let us know!

Re: LX Pro Netraid Controller Error Message
Assuming you have the latest BIOS versions for the 3Si and the NetServer it self "this is extreamly important.
Try runing check consistency from the NetRaid utility under the NT on the Raid array containing drive 4.
Note that this error indicate a pre-failure notification ,may be check consistency can help you.
Good Luck
