Logs for MSA G1, G2 and G3
Can anyone help me what are the logs needs to be collected for MSA storage array G1, G2 and G3 for troubleshooting purpose. Also please help me how to identify the difference between the generations.
what is the difference between the conrollers (iSCSI, FC, SAS) used in those?
appreciate your expert help.
Thanks,
ksk

Re: Logs for MSA G1, G2 and G3
please review the manuals for the difference. The only major change is the host inerface module which could be SAS/FC?ISCSI.
The MSA team would need store.logs
for
G1) Manage - utilities - debug utilities - save logs to file (with all options selected)
G2/G3, select controller in left pane - > tools -> save logs
