ML370 G3 Failed Battery on 642

I have many ML370 G3 servers that are consistantly reporting failed batteries on the 642 controller. HP says the agents are bad and cause mis-reporting. Has anyone else had any luck stopping this error.

There is a new firmware update for this controller that fixes that problem.

The caveat is you must upgrade your system management driver first. Info is in the above link.

I have the same issue on many of our servers out in the feild. Spoke to the HP support and they suggested we download The newest controler firmware, Bios and support pack

The technician told me that the current firmware resolves the issues for most people but that a new firmware was going to be released to cover all the issues.
