MPIO Guide
Hi there,
Can anyone tell me where I can find a resource on how MPIO works please? I found a link where to download the software from but does not have any guide as to how it works.
Thanks
Warsai

Re: MPIO Guide
Warsai:
Here is a good place to start...
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsServer2003/technologies/storage/mpio/faq.mspx
...since MPIO is technically a "Microsoft" thing.

Re: MPIO Guide
If you like to have HP specific inforamtion regarding the MPIO implementation have a look at the following link.
Here you find the EVA4/6/8000 and XP Full Feature MPIO release notes and installation and reference guides.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&locale=en_US&docIndexId=179166&taskId=135&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=421492
The EVA3000 /5000 and the MSA family currently only have basic MPIO implementation. There is not much information available since it is what it says: basic implementation.
Cheers
Peter
