MSA 30 - 4314R bad hard drives
I have a Proliant DL580 server with a Smart Array controller - 5302/64MB. I have a total of 3 logical drives: A - 2 internal drives on port 1 (works fine) and Logical drives B and C on port 2 in a 4314R storage enclosure. I cannot access any of the drives in the storage enclosure. I have a total of 11 hard drives in the storage enclosure that make up logical drives B and C. When I turn on the storage controller I see no LED lights on 7 of the drives and on 4 of the drives the green arrow stays on the drive constant and is solid. Has anyone ever experienced this type of issue? When I boot the server and look in the Array Configuration Utility and Array Diagnostic Utility it tells me all 11 drives have failed. It doesn't seem right that all the drives would fail at once.
