MSA Flash Utility not finding msa1000 running 4.48
I have a older msa1000 running 4.48 with a 2008 r2 dl380.
I ran into the issue with "incorrect function" and I understand a firmware update fixes that issue on 2008 r2 (this msa worked OK with 2003 on the same server)
When I run any of the Flash update utilities the tool does not find any msa controllers but the ASU works fine and when I present a lun to the server it can connect fine with the MIPO drivers.
Is this utility not supported on 2008 r2.
Does the bootable firmware update disk support updating the msa1000?
TIA

Re: MSA Flash Utility not finding msa1000 running 4.48
Still not working via GUI.
You can flash via serial port.
See this link for example:

I flashed the 7.x version version and will be power cycling the unit next week.
No way to power cycle via CLI that I can find.
Hopefully it is not a brick :)
