MSA P2000 G3 SAS connected to 2x W2k8R2 x64
Hi
I have 2xDL360 G7 with 2x LSI SAS cards in each.. Connecting them to the MSA using 4x miniSAS cables following the cable guide.
I have installed the HP MPIO I have updated all the drivers and FW.. I have installed the MultiIO in ServerR2
I can not see the storage... SCREAM...
I have connnected to the MSA via the Ethernet port and setup the VDisks as I want them mirrored vd0 and raid5 for the rest of the disks vd1
In Disk Manager I can not see the storage.. Im missing something but god knows what.. Im now finding myself going round and round the documentation...
Help Guys...
Bruce

A VDisk is only a redundant data container. End-user's data is stored on volumes. You need to create volumes on top of the VDisk(s) and present them to the hosts.

Re: MSA P2000 G3 SAS connected to 2x W2k8R2 x64
and after I have made 2 volumes and I've presented them both to the host ...why doesn't the host recognize both of them?
it discovers only one of them and the other not.
Any ideas why not?
thx in adv.
