What is the different between the MSA and the EVA?

MSA - Fiber connection
- SCSI on disk
- Limited mix off OS (HPUX not in heterognous environment

EVA - Fiber connection
- Fiber to disk
- No limition in mix of OS

Nicolas,

As mentioned above there are a few differences in connectivity.

EVA's will give higher performance too, since they can be scaled far greater than MSA's.

However, this comes at a cost. If you can live with the limitations of the MSA you will save a lot of cash.

It all depends on what you need, and what you think you may need in the future. The EVA is the better option for future proofing, but comes at a price.
