MSA1000 Conversion to ISCSI

Is there a path to convert a fiber optic MSA-1000 to ISCSI?

Thanks,

From the looks of it, there is no upgrade path at this time. After looking at the different options for the MSA1000, MSA1500cs and MSA1510, the controller shelfs are all different and the controllers between the 151`0 and 1000 are different. At the very least, you would be able to use any existing MSA30 or MSA20 disk shelves, but you would need to get the MSA1510 controller shelf, controllers, iSCSI modules and an extra MSA30 to replace your original MSA1000 shelf.

I remember posting about this a while ago stating that it would be logical for HP to have an upgrade path for the MSA1000, but now that I think about it, they probably want to do away with the 1000 eventually and only have the 1500/1510 as it offers more storage possibilities.
