MSA1000 Windows Event ID 1148

One of my Windows 2000 clustered servers is reporting a error in the system event log. Every two minutes it reports a error 1148 four times in a row. It says the array accelerator status has changed.

Type: Error
Source: Storage Agents
Event ID: 1148
Event Time: 10/10/2005 12:13:33 PM
User: n/a
Computer: W2KADMIN1
Description:
Compaq External Array Accelerator Status Change. The array
accelerator board attached to the external controller
in I/O slot 1 of array "9J2AJN71S6G1" has a new status of 3.
(Accelerator
status values: 1=other, 2=notConfigured, 3=enabled, 4=tmpDisabled,
5=permDisabled)
[SNMP TRAP: 16017 in CPQFCA.MIB]
The LCD display on the controller says everybody is happy. Any ideas?

did you make any changes to your configuration during that time. We turn off the cache, during any configuration changes. Then turn it back "On" once everything is completed.

No. No changes were made. It just keeps repeating the message 4 times in a row every 2 minutes that the cache has been enabled. There are never any messages saying it was disabled. It has been happening for 5 or 6 days 4 times in a row every 2 minutes.
