MSA1000 and Compaq 161290-001 66Mhz 64-bit FC PCI Controller card

Does anyone know if this card is compatible with the MSA1000 SAN disk arrays? I Have a couple of MSA1000's I need to get going, and have a couple of the 161290-001 cards on hand, and am wondering if anyone has made them work? It lloke like a standard fiber GBIC card goes in the back of the controller, and then there is an SFP connection on the MSA1000, so all I should need is the correstly tipped fiber cable, correct?

I've had a quick look, but can't see that card on there.

I have looked at that list, all the cards listed have nice FCA22?? titles, and I don't see any such reference on the cards I have.

Hi Clay,
Sorry, these HBA's are only certified for use in RA4000 storage systems.
But, you may be able to run it in an unsupported mode as it depends on the fibre SAN switches that you intend to use. If you could advise the the fibre switch model, it would be useful.

I have just buy the same FC card that you have:
Compaq 161290-001 66Mhz 64-bit FC PCI Controller
But I haven't the driver for install, and it's difficult to find, please can you said me where I can find this one.

the FC is directly attached to the MSA?
if NOT: have a look at your zoning config.

I had a time searching for the driver, but the only one i found was fo the 33MHz here:
