Re: MSA1000 boot HPUX
The other SAN array is very unlikely supported for boot ...
Hope this helps!

Re: MSA1000 boot HPUX
Please correct me
I have MSA1000 with single controler (without hub) and now I have direct connection to server trough FC card, so for this configuration is impossible boot from MSA1000? no
If I connect MSA1000 to my IBM SAN switch 64port so i can boot trough fabric from MSA1000? yes
??
thanks

Re: MSA1000 boot HPUX
>(without hub) and now I have direct >connection to server trough FC card, so for >this configuration is impossible boot from >MSA1000? no
this variant is not supported (its the direct host to MSA connection)
>If I connect MSA1000 to my IBM SAN switch >64port so i can boot trough fabric from >MSA1000?
this variant is supported (its the host to MSA connection via the fabric switch)
2/8 switch is MSA embedded san switch module (brocade) - supported
2/3 hub is MSA embedded san hub module - not supported (single controller - firmware 4.48 and hp-ux 11.23)
