MSA1000 controller continually re-booting

I have a pair of MSA1000 controllers that are running version 4.48 of the firmware. We are noticing that they are operational for a short period of time, then they both re-boot. Has anyone see this before and what are the possible causes?

Re: MSA1000 controller continually re-booting

The following might be the common causes
- Overheating due to Environement
- Failure of any hardware component on the controller
- Due to an event from the server/SAN connected to the controller

Please send the following details for further analysis:
- After how long does the unit reboot?
- Does the OCP in front of the controller show any error codes or error messages?
- Status of the LED's in front/rear of the controller
- Does both the controller reboot at the same time?
- How is the controller connected to the Server/SAN?
- Get an output for "show tech_support" through the Hyperterminal. I have attached the file that has the details on accessing the Hyperterminal on Page 15

Just an update. The backplane was replaced in the MDA1000 and the problem was fixed.

So far, with the back plane replaced, this issue appears to be resolved.

Thanks
