MSA1000 with ProLiant BL series

Hi,

We have MSA1000 connected to ProLiaant BL enclosure. All BL servers without HDD. The question is, can i creater on MSA1000 one RAID5, divide this RAID in to partitions and assign each partition to particular BL server. In another words: can i boot BL servers from MSA?

Thanks,
Max

Re: MSA1000 with ProLiant BL series

Max,

SSP works at LUN level, not partition level.

The MSA won't know about partitions, so I don't think you could do this.
