MSA1500 monitoring
Hello All,
I've got two MSA1500cs arrays which are attached to different sets of servers (Windows 2003 Server) through different sets of 4/8 switches. Both of the arrays give me troubles with their monitoring (hardware, etc.). Both have HP agents on the attached servers up and running and they came from the same latest HP Support CD as the HBA drivers and HP Config Utility installed. One puts disk failure notifications in the attached servers event logs - but those somehow do not get picked up by HPOV - that I can probably resolve somehow. However, the second array does not put anything into attached servers' event logs at all - and that bothers me.
Anyone has any suggestions?
Also, is there any other way to monitor MSA1500's other that through the servers they attached to?
Thanks.
Eugene.
