MSA1500cs: Adding a MSA30 and shuffling disks
Hello!
I have a MSA1500cs which currently has one MSA30 attached to it. There are two things I need to do with it, for which I couldn't find clear instructions in the docs:
1. Add another MSA30, with some disks already in it. I assume I need to power down the MSA1500 to do this? Or can the MSA30 be hot-added?
2. Move some of the disks from existing MSA30 into the new MSA30, so that the existing array is split between two MSA30s (two U320 channels). Again, I assume i should power down the devices to do this. Will my existing LUNs survive such a move?

Never mind, of course I found the answer in the docs right after posting to the forum...
