MSA20 w/ Smart Array 6404
Hello Community,
Please excuse my lack of understand, I am trying to learn as I go. I have an MSA20 with the 6404 Controller that is hooked up to a DL360 currently. I am trying to use freenas which uses zfs. Do I need any other equipment besides what I have already to have the MSA20 act only as a JBOD so I can use zfs and not the hardware raid? Any help would be greatly appricated.

Re: MSA20 w/ Smart Array 6404
Hi, AFAIK you cannot get raw access to the disks.
They need to be presented as an array.
I guess you could create many RAID0 arrays with one disk in each.
