MSA2000sa show host-wwn-names - output changes
When I issue the MSA2000 cli command:
#show host-wwn-names - the list of WWN's does not always appear in the same order; see below; the order appears to change depending on how fast you repeat the command.
We are trying to script the creation of Nicknames dependent on the order the WWN's list, but to date this is not possible.
A bad "feature" of the #show host-wwn-names is it doesn't display the controller and port the WWN appears on.
Does anyone know how to get around our problem on how to accurately associate a WWN to a controller port from the cli.
Getting the controller and port from the gui is possible but is not scriptable
