MSA30 Add Bigger Disk

I have 4 disks (146GB) in a a raid5 configuration in Logical Drive 0. I want to replace the 4 disk with 300k drives. I have remove logical device from volume group so there is no current live data.
Should I replace smaller disk with bigger disk and let disk array automatically add the new capacity or delete logical drive 0 and build a new logical drive with new disk?

Re: MSA30 Add Bigger Disk

Since you removed all the data, it will be much quicker to delete the logical drive and replce the all disks at the same time.

Re: MSA30 Add Bigger Disk

Hi,
For RAID5 implementation ALL 4 disk should be in SAME capicity e.g all 4 are 146GB.

This configuration will be configure again.
