MSA500 G1

I am thinking to buy MSA500 G1. is it support Ultra360 drives.

I am almost positive the MSA500 Controller is U160 based, not U320. U320 drives will work in it, but at U160 speeds.

I could be wrong as I haven't seen an MSA500 in a while now. Not sure if they ever upgraded it for the G1.

The current version is G2 & it's end-to-end U320. Retired G1 is an Ultra3 SCSI but supporting Ultra320 hard drives.
