MSA500 Port Specs.

I have a customer that is asking what the technical specifications of the port located on the controller are. They will not be using a Windows based host to setup and install.
Any links or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unless you have the FC I/O module, the ports are all Untra320 SCSI and must conform to that spec. The MSA500 specs also call out an aggregate maximum throughput across all ports of 640 MB/s.

That depends:

MSA500 - Ultra3 (U160) ports
MSA500 G2 (current model) - U320 ports

FC ports could be there only if you convert your MSA500 into MSA1000, i.e. by replacing port module AND controller module.
