MSA70 Storage Array

I came into this company in Feb of this year.
They have a MSA70 Dtorage Array hooked to an HP server. The old admin had RAID reports sent to his email.

I now get his emails. I recieved this report today. Notice the @@ ######## @@ section after a drive, whats that mean? I do see I have 2 drives failed. I replace those in morning. Thanks for your help.

you must change your tw0 disk drive because 2 hard drive is failed.
change your hard drive and system automatic rebuilding your 2 hard drive.

please update your storage:

1.

Go to http://www.hp.com/support/downloads .
2.

Under storage, click Disk Storage Systems .
3.

Under MSA Disk Arrays, click either HP StorageWorks 60 Modular Smart Array or HP StorageWorks 70 Modular Smart Array .
4.

Select your product and operating system.
5.

Under Firmware - CD-ROM, click the title within the table to download the Firmware Maintenance CD.

I will not upgrade firmware before I replace these drives. I would DEFINETLY need more info on upgrades, as there is a database on here that if lost would make our buisness go down for DAYS before we could restore it. I just really want to know what the @@ ###, ### @@ means.

I am not willing to lose my data.
I understand a firmware shouldn't harm any thing data wise, but that's risky. Does anyone know what those @@ symbol section means? Thanks!!

Hi Darrell,

power cycle the server and storage once if u have a downtime.
check the status in Online as well as offline ACU.
Share the latest ADU report for us to check the issue further

Well all I wanted to know was the @@ symbol section.

If it is drives going bad, was wanting to make sure I order more. But all I am getting is "TAKE RISK" suggestions. Thanks for your help anyways. Have a great day!!
