Migrated from e200 to p800, array shows 2 drives undefined
Greetings,
In migration between machines, we had a 4 disk raid5 internally running on an e200 controller.
While bringing up the new machine, we put 2 disks in an msa60, configured as raid0 to test functionality.
We shutdown the new machine and old machine, removed the 2 disks from the msa60, and moved the drives from the old machine to the msa60, and powered on.
hpacucli shows the 2 drive raid 0 config with 2 drives undefined. It appears as if the controller is holding on to the old configuration.
<edit>
We also tried putting the 4 drives back in the original machine, and they seemed to have retained the raid0
</edit>
Is there a way to clear it up?
Can I power down, remove 4 drives, power on, remove config, put the 4 drives back in, and have it see the raid5?
Can I modify the array config within hpacucli and retain data?
Can I get a per incident support call with HP?
Thanks

Re: Migrated from e200 to p800, array shows 2 drives undefined
after moving the 4 original raid 5 disks and removing the 2 raid0 disks, the host shows 4 drives, 2 of them in the raid0 config, and the other 2 unassigned, so for some reason, it shows the incorrect configuration

Re: Migrated from e200 to p800, array shows 2 drives undefined
Old machine:
4 drive raid 5
New machine:
2 drive raid 0 (to verify p800/msa60 were functioning properly)
-Powered off both machines
-Removed drives from both machines
-Installed 4 drive raid 5 disks to New machine
-Powered on new machine
4 drive raid 5 disks show up with the configuration of the 2 drive raid 0
