Migrating EVA 3000, 4000 Disk enclosure to a EVA8100

I am looking at migrating my Disk enclosures from the EVA3000 and 4000 to my EVA8100.
Can anyone tell me if the enclosures are compatible to work with the 8100. I know i have to upgrade the I/O cards as the 3000 units are only 1GB and i think the 4000 are 4GB but need to confirm this aswell to see if they are compatible.
Any information on this would be greatly appriciated.

thanks

Hi
All 1st and 2nd generation EVA's are 2Gb device (disk) side. To use your existing shelves with an 8100 you need to take them to the specification of the M5314C shelf as this is the only spec supported for 41/61/8100 systems.
You will have to change the I/O modules and probably the EMU. That should probably do it.
