Missing link to Command View EVA...
I ran the ElmSetup.exe to reset the SSSU password, because the SSSU script could not run due to "invalid username or password" problem.
Now the SSSU works, but the link to Command View EVA is missing.
I am able to access to the EVA via https://ipaddress:2381/command_view_eva
I've tried to recycle the HP Command View EVA, HP EVA Performance Data Collector & HP System Management Homepage services but it does not help.
How do I get the link back? Please advice...thank you in advance.

What version of Command View EVA are you running ??
The URL has changed a few times with different versions.
Cheers,
Rob

or better reboot the whole management server.

Re: Missing link to Command View EVA...
Log into Command View and there should be a link for "help" (or similar) at the top of the page on the right hand side.
You cshould also be able to get the version number from... Start --> Control Panel --> Add Remove Programs --> details on Command View EVA.
Now... if you have the "address" for Command View, do you really need to have the link on the management home page? You can log in directly without having to hit the SMH first.

Re: Missing link to Command View EVA...
I am unable to access to Command View EVA even by entering the https://ipaddress:2381/command_view_eva method...
Will a server reboot help restore the connection between eva and management server?

Re: Missing link to Command View EVA...
Have you done anything to the server recently? Patches? updates?
Is this box a SMA II? or III? or just a regular Windows Server?
What EVA model do you have and what version of VCS is running on it?
If you have an SMAII or III, you might want to consider rebuilding it with WIndows Server standard edition and upgrading your Command View.
Being your Command View is so old, you probably have old firmware on your EVA as well, and probably your SAN switches. Might be time for a health check!!!

Re: Missing link to Command View EVA...
I have similar problem with you. I'm using CV EVA 5.x.x.
I suspect it is due to the "System Management Homepage" version that we apply from PSP.
PSP 8.0 still contain SMH v2.x.
PSP 8.1 and above contain SMH v3.x and above.
This could be the main cause but CV EVA 4 and 5 no longer in support.
I have tested with apply PSP 8.2 and deselected SMH v3.x. CV EVA 5, work fine.
Hope this help.
