NetRAID 3si limit in W2K cluster enviroment
We have an issue with a W2K cluster with LPR, NetRAID 1si for internal disks + 3s1 for shared storage on 2 RS12.
On the contrary of what reported in the official HP Installation guide regarding Lpr+3si+W2K AS Cluster it seems that it's impossible to have more than 6 different RAID. That's seems to me as an unacceptable limit...

Re: NetRAID 3si limit in W2K cluster enviroment
You should be able to create up to 8 RAIDs if you have enough physical disks. Since your limit is 6 it seems that you have only one rs12 (for example 6 raid1 raids, or even less if you are using more then 2 physical disks per array). Limit of 8 raids per controller is pretty common for low end disk solutions. If this is not acceptable you shoud use "better" disk array (for example VA can utilize up to 16 LUNs per MS cluster).

Re: NetRAID 3si limit in W2K cluster enviroment
Enes,
thanks for your reply but we have two RS12 and the limit is specified in an Instant Support that states something complete different from what reported in the Configuration Guide.
Have a look at Issue #2 in http://isupport2.hp.com/Solution.asp?id=887a80f2-35a3-11d5-beaf-0090278a7756 ...
