Re: Netraid-1 SI on LC2000 with Windows 2000
I use the buildin driver for the netraid 1-SI mraid35x.sys "5.0.2183.1" because I can't update the driver to this version 5.0.2195.1 he return always to this first version.

Re: Netraid-1 SI on LC2000 with Windows 2000
There is yet a newerr BIOS (4.06.30 PV) at http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpnetserve19399_swen.html
but it implies that it is for LC2000r. However the BIOS you just installed (4.06.29 PV) is gone from that page. I don't know what to make of that. It's your call.
As to the Netraid-1Si driver, I downloaded it and created the two floppies and the driver we want (5.00.2195.1) is in A:\netraid. What may be screwing you up is there is a file in A:\ called mraid35x.sys which is not the right file and I can't figure out why it's there. If it were my decision, I would force it to load the driver from A:\netraid\mraid35x.sys.
Good luck. Let us know.

Re: Netraid-1 SI on LC2000 with Windows 2000
I have the same disater case on my LH3000 Server!!!!! The detail is as below:
I have SQL Server 2000 installed on a LH3000 Server, The server with a Net Raid5 system. From June 2002 till now, I encounter the same case for 6 times! In win2000 server events, it report so many items "Source: Mraid35X Detail: The Device \Device\Scsi\Mraid35x1 didn't respond within the tiemout period".
The error was reported in frequency 45 seconds.
When the win2000 server occur the error, then the speed slow down greatly, any operation will cause the machine halted on.
I have to restart the server, then the error will not occur for some days. last time, it occur on May 28,2003, this time it occur again on June 15,2003. Terrible, what is wrong with the netraid?
I doubt it is caused by the driver, so I update the drvier of netraid with the HP driver in April, but it still occur!!!!
Configuration of the LH3000 server:
1. Dual CPU
2,. 2GB RAM
3. 5 Hard disk(40GB) in Raid5 model
4. WIn2000 Server(Standard Edition)+SP2
5. Netraid have the correct driver version 2.66(Download from the HP Website)
6. BIOS of Server/Firmware of Netraid are all updated.
Who can help me?
Can the releaser of this article tell us the final result about your server now?

Re: Netraid-1 SI on LC2000 with Windows 2000
You are so lucky, I 'm so unlucky.
Although I have updated th BIOS of the LH3000 Server and the firmware of the Netraid, the Win2000 still report the error in a irregular frequency, after updated those configuration, The error already occured 2 times, one time is 2003.05.28, another time is 2003.6.15.
I don't know how to do now at all!
