Nike Cache configuration on MPE

What is the best way to configure the cache on a Mod 20 with the MPE OS? Given the XM (transaction manager) wouldn't it be best to apply all the cache to the write side? Or would it be better to put in on the read side. I heard a rumour that a white paper was written on the topic.

Thanks for the help

Eugene,

Thanks for the help. But I already read the documentation several times. It doesn't have any suggestions on the best way to set the cache memory to work with the transaction manager.

My speculation is to set it to all write cache. Since MPE has it's own internal read cache. This will help speed up the XM checkpoints.

Sounds wise. Anyway, you can try configuring Nike in 'default' way (64MB=4MB+20MB read+40MB write) and in your way (64MB=4MB+60MB write) and look at read/write perfomance difference
